Los Alamos  $57   all day tour: 9 a.m.-5:50 p.m.  Thursday and Monday

This tour is desirable to a small number of very interested people.  We have figured out a way for you to enjoy this tour as much as, if not more than, our original version.
Georgia Strickfaden (Atomic City Tours) has graciously offered to pick up at a Santa Fe train depot and do the Los Alamos tour for you on Thursday, June 22 and Monday, June 26.  Here is how it will work:
Tour New Mexico has a tour guide meet you at the Alvarado Transportation Center (ATC) a few blocks from the Convention Center.  The Railrunner train #510 north departs the ATC at 9:35 sharp.  We need to be there by 9:15.  Our tour guide will give you the round trip train fare.  You board the train and at some point a fare collector will come through the car and you pay them the round trip fare from Downtown Albuquerque to the South Capital stop.
When you get off the train at South Capital at 11:11AM you will see Georgia and her tour bus in the parking lot, you will have her cell phone number.  She will drive you to Los Alamos and do the tour of all the historic sites in L.A.  Georgia will return you to the South Capital station in time to take train #515 south at 4:20PM and you will arrive in Downtown Albuquerque at 5:50PM.  Your train ticket does not limit you to what return train to take, making it possible for you to spend additional time in Santa Fe (for dinner perhaps) and taking a later train to Albuquerque.

SPECIAL TOUR hotel pick up is between 5 a.m. - 5:30 a.m.
returns to hotel between 9:15 a.m. - 9:45 a.m.
